This morning around 5:12am, officers from District 1 responded to a radio call for an injured person at the intersection of New Chardon St. and Surface Rd. On arrival, officers located the victim suffering from trauma. EMS transported the victim to Massachusetts General Hospital where the victim was pronounced.The cause of the victim’s trauma is undetermined at this time. Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that the injuries may have occurred as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle.
