About 11:39pm on Monday, October 16, 2006, officers from District 11 responded to a radio call for shots fired at Fox Street and Mt. Ida Road. On arrival officers located a male victim inside of a motor vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced at the scene. The victim has been identified as Paulo G. Barros, 22, of Dorchester. The cause of death has been determined to be gunshot wounds and the cause of death is considered a homicide.Boston Police Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance and urge anyone with information relative to this incident to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470 or remain anonymous by calling the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
