Daily Incidents For October 17, 2006

Unarmed Robbery At Brookline Avenue and Newbury StreetYesterday around 4:41pm, officers in District 4 responded to a radio call for a larceny in progress. On arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated two black females jumped her pushing her to ground and took her handbag. Both suspects fled the scene in different directions.
Armed Robbery of Dunkin Donuts
Yesterday around 7:43pm, officers in District 4 responded to a radio call for a panic alarm at 440 Massachusetts Avenue. On arrival officers spoke with the manager who stated a black male entered the business showed a small black handgun and demanded money. At which time the suspect was handed between one hundred and fifty dollars and two hundred dollars. The suspect fled the scene and headed down Columbus Avenue.
Two Arrested For Tagging
At 1:25am this morning, officers in District 14 observed one suspect remove a can of spray paint from his pants pocket and placed it in his sweatshirt pocket. Officers observed the suspects moving items rapidly in their pockets consistent with shaking a spray paint can. Officers observed the four suspects one by one disappear into the alcove of 270 Beacon Street and then reappear. As officers approached the suspect fled in different direction. James Spahr, 18, of Boston was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Person and Damage to Property by Graffiti/Tagging. Also arrested was Maxwell Cancellieri, 18, of Boston and charged him with Damage to Property by Graffiti/Tagging. Two of the suspect made good their escape. Officers did recover 4 cans of spray paint.
