Two Arrested For Drugs In The CommonYesterday around 5:48pm, officer in District 1 while on patrol observed two individual inside the Boston Common make a hand-to-hand transaction consistent with a drug deal. Officers stopped the second individual and recovered two plastic bags believed to be crack cocaine. Roger Didonato, 25, Everett were arrested and charged with Possession of Class B. Also arrested was Jamialle Williams, 33, of Mansfield and charged with Possession of Class B, Distribution of Class B and Distribution of Class B with 1000’ of School Zone. Officers did recover drugs from both suspects.
Man Arrested in Stabbing
Last night around 8:36pm, officers in District 2 responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at Dudley Street and North Avenue. While officers were in route they were informed that the victim was in front of 30 West Cottage. Officers located the victim sitting on the curb suffering from multiple stab wound to the chest and back. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries. A description of the suspect was broadcasted and officers located the suspect at Andrew Square Station. Roberto Mendes, 17, of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon (knife), Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Dangerous Weapon carried unlawfully.
Attempted Robbery in Dorchester
Last night around 10:52pm, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for a person with a gun at 24 Sudan Street. On arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated a black male approached him at the corner of Sagamore and Sudan Streets pointed a gun at him and demanded money. The victim told the suspect he did not have any money and the suspect fled on foot down Sagamore Street. Officers searched the area but could not locate a suspect.
