At 11:00pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, officers from District 18 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 10 Wood Ave. Officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound at Harvard Street and Cummings Highway. EMS transported the victim to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as Hardy Celestin, 17, of Roslindale. The cause of death has been determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is considered a homicide.Boston Police Homicide Detectives continue to investigate the murder of Hardy Celestin. This is the 55th homicide victim of 2006.
