Firearm Recovered During Traffic StopAround 12:06pm yesterday, officers from District 6 conducted a traffic stop at 462 Columbia Rd. after observing the operator of a motor vehicle engage in numerous traffic infractions. During the traffic stop, the operator was found to be in possession of marijuana and a firearm. The suspect, John Patterson, 32, of Roxbury, was arrested and charged with Possession of Class D, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
Three Victims Transported to Hospital Due to Gunshot Wounds
At about 8:22pm yesterday officers from District 4 responded to 62 Hammond St. for reports of shots fired. On arrival officers located a victim suffering from gunshot wounds who reported that he was shot while in front of 62 Hammond St. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Officers recovered ballistic evidence at the scene but no suspects were apprehended.
Last night around 9:40pm officers from District 4 in response to a call for a person shot responded to 2 Lattimore Ct. There, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound who was transported to Boston Medical Center in critical condition. The suspect(s) remain at large at this point.
Officers from District 18 responded to 65 Taunton St. last night at approximately 11:07pm for a person shot. On arrival officers located the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the middle of the street. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center in critical condition, and the suspect(s) were not located despite a search of the area.
Sex “Cells”
Officers from District 11 yesterday while in the area of Charles St. and Dorchester Ave. made observation of two individuals engaged in oral sex in an alley. Stop of those two individuals resulted in officers finding out that they had engaged in a sex for a fee agreement. Both parties, Laura Buchman, 40, of Dorchester, and Javier A. Duvon, 20, of East Boston, were arrested and charged with Sex for a Fee.
