Boston Police Seeks the Public’s Assistance to Identify Mother of Found Newborn

The Boston Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the mother of a newborn boy, who was found today at 61 Bradeen Street in Roslindale. At approximately 11:14am, officers were dispatched to said location for a report of a found newborn baby. Upon arrival, officers located the newborn wrapped in a blanket with the placenta still attached. The baby was immediately transported to Children’s Hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.The male infant is believed to be either white or Hispanic and born within the last 24 hours. The baby is now receiving proper care and detectives are concerned for the welfare of the mother, who may be in need of medical attention.
Police would like to speak to anyone with knowledge of a woman who was recently near the end of her pregnancy and now cannot account for the baby.
