Victim Stabbed in Savin HillOfficers from District 11 responded to a report of a stabbing last night at 10:47pm at 15 Savin Hill Ave. The 28-year-old male victim from Brockton states he was driving his motor vehicle on Dorchester Avenue at Savin Hill Avenue when the suspect approached the vehicle, an argument ensued and the victim was stabbed. The suspect remains at large. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Gun Arrest
Last night at about 10:15pm, an officer assigned to traffic enforcement in District 3 stopped a vehicle for a violation at 180 Stratton Street. While investigating the driver and occupants, a passenger was found to be carrying a loaded firearm. Police arrested Daryl Simmons, 19, of Roxbury and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition. He will be arraigned today in the Dorchester District Court.
Three Arrested After Stabbing Charlestown Resident
Officers assigned to District 15 responded to City Square last night at about 7:11pm on a report of a stabbing. Officers located a 19-year-old male from Charlestown suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound. The victim was treated and transported to the Massachusetts General Hospital where he was treated. Three suspects were arrested for the stabbing. The following people will be arraigned in the Charlestown District Court and charged with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault with Intent to Murder: Ronald Sarante, 22, of South Boston, Harold Familia, 18, of Charlestown, and Jacinto Batista, 21, of Roxbury.
