Officers from District 2 patrolling Warren Street near the Roxbury District Court heard shots fired from the area of Regent and Akron Streets this morning at about 12:14am. As the officers approached Regent Street they observed a motor vehicle on Warren and Moreland Street that had crashed into an unattended parked car. Inside the vehicle the officers observed a 22-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
