This morning at approximately 11am, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force working in the area of Dorchester District Court heard two gunshots behind the courthouse. Officers responded and observed suspects running down Tremlett Street towards Waldeck Street. A description of the suspects was broadcast via radio and Elier Acevedo, 17, of Dorchester was arrested on Waldeck Street. Troy Armstrong, 17, of Dorchester was arrested on Tonawanda Street and officers recovered a .25 caliber loaded semi-automatic handgun from his pants pocket. A 16 year-old juvenile was arrested on Lindsey Street.The three individuals will be arraigned tomorrow in Dorchester District Court.
