Shots Fired at 12 Westville StreetAround 12:58am, officer in District 11 responded to a radio call for loud music at 11 Joseph Street. While officers were investigating this call they heard multiple gunshots coming from the area of Westville Street/Geneva Avenue area. Officers were informed that a call for shots fired was reported on Westville Terrace. On arrival officers observed a motor vehicle parked in front of 12 Westville Terrace with the windows shot out. Officers did recover ballistic evidence at the scene. There are no reports of injuries at this time.
Assault and Battery At Stuart and Charles Streets
Early this morning around 1:55am, officers in District 1 observed a fight at the corner of Stuart and Charles Streets. Officers observed the suspect punch the victim in the face. Officers observed the victim fall to the ground and hit his head on the pavement. Officers arrested George Sandner, 31, of New Hampshire for Assault and Battery. The victim was treated at the scene for a laceration and swelling to his left eye. The victim refused to go to the hospital. Victim stated to officers that he has no idea why he was assaulted.
Person Stabbed at State and Broad Streets
Around 2:12am this morning, officers in District 1 responded to a radio call for a fight at State and Broad Street. On arrival officers observed EMS treating two victims, one for a stab wound to the side and the other for a head laceration. Both victim were transported to Mass General Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The victim’s stated they were attacked by a group of white males, from a previous altercation that took place inside of Vertigo Nightclub.
