At about 11:39pm on Tuesday July 25th, officers responded to 128 Intervale Street, Roxbury for a person shot. On arrival they located a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital and was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Vernon Cobb, 21, of Dorchester.
