At 5:58pm this evening, officers from District 3 responded to 90 Ames Street, Dorchester for a person shot. An unidentified male victim was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken from the scene to Boston Medical Center and was later pronounce dead.Homicide Detectives are investigating this shooting and ask anyone with information to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
