Officers assigned to District 11 responded to Walton and Washington Streets tonight at 7:06pm on a report of a person shot. On arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury. Detectives continue to process the crime scene and investigate this shooting.
