At 2:13am this morning officers in District 11 responded to Hamilton Street in Dorchester on a call of shots fired. On arrival they located a victim on the ground opposite 190 Hamilton suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, who is not identified at this time, was transported to the Boston Medical Center and was pronounced dead at 2:35am.Homicide Investigators continue to investigate this incident and urge anyone with information to contact them at the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or the Crime Stoppers tip line at 800-494-TIPS.
