At 8:16pm last night, officers from District 2 responded to 6 Carmel Street in Roxbury for a man down. On arrival they observed a victim lying in an alleyway suffering from what appeared to be head trauma. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.Homicide Investigators continue to investigate this incident and urge anyone with information to contact them at the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or the Crime Stoppers tip line at 800-494-TIPS.
