Women Robbed During ATM TransactionA woman was robbed Sunday morning by three suspects as she attempted to use an ATM machine at 10 Park Plaza in the Back Bay. A black male who was with two black females around 10:42am threatened the victim with a knife and demanded money. The victim was not injured during the robbery and all three suspects fled the scene.
Two Dorchester Men Arrested Drugs Seized
At 2:52pm on Sunday, officers from District 2 responded to Magnolia and Dudley Streets for an assault in progress. Officers observed 43-year-old Oswaldo Ortiz and 36-year-old Jose Rodriguez in a heated altercation with one another. Ortiz was found to have two hypodermic needles and a plastic bag of white powder believed to be heroin in his pocket. Rodriguez was found to have seven small plastic bags of what was believed to be crack cocaine. Both men were arrested and will be arraigned today in Roxbury District Court.
Boston Man Assaulted and Robbed on Causeway Street
At 5:53pm on Sunday, officers from District 1 met the victim of a robbery on Court Street, Downtown. While walking on Causeway Street, the victim was approached by three men, one of whom punched the victim in the face and took $50.00 from him. All three suspects fled on foot. No arrests at this time.
Suspect Sought in Dorchester Commercial Robbery
At 10:53pm on Sunday, officers from District 11 responded to 489 Gallivan Boulevard, Hollywood Video, for a robbery. According to staff an unknown black male entered the store and concealed several DVD’s inside a jacket and fled the store. When confronted outside the store, the suspect stated he had a gun and fled on Granite Avenue towards Milton Street. No injuries were reported and a search of the area for the suspect was made.
17 tear-old Robbed on Union Park Street, South End
At 7:15am this morning, a 17-year-old male was assaulted and robbed by three Hispanic Males as he walked on Union Park Street. The victim reported the robbery in person at Boston Police District 4 in the South End. The victim stated he would seek medical treatment on his own. The suspects remain at large.
